“Verily, Verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abidth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit. He that liveth his life loseth it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.” [John 12:24-25 RV]
We may ask: “How is it possible to lose life in order to gain it? Or, why would God give us life then demand that life?
But look at the paradox in nature.
All nature is the parable of how the losing of a life can be the way of securing a truer and higher life.

Trees shed off their canopy completely before new leaves sprout yet they are ever green – same to fruit trees. How about the beautiful flowers in our compounds? Seeds, too, teach us the lesson that through death lies the path to beautiful and fruitful life. If you think you are buried now in tribulations, oppression, frustration, depression, etc, the Bible teaches that in death there’s resurrection and through Christ we bring alive any “dead” situation, including bad behavior that we need to abandon, for as long as we are willing to “die” and start manifesting good “fruits”
The beauty and renewal in the human body, mind and soul, is in “dying” to self!
